Jameson 'Triple Triple'⁣

Bottled at 40%⁣⁣

Casks: Ex-Bourbon, Sherry and Málaga wine casks.⁣⁣

My tasting notes; ⁣⁣

Nose. Redcurrants with Vanilla and Molasses.⁣⁣

Palate. Spices, Tropical Fruit and Zesty Lemon.⁣⁣

Finish. Dark fruits, Gingerbread and Caramel⁣⁣

A sweet, deep and subtly floral redcurrant flavour is first found, Base notes of vanilla add definite bourbon influence to this whisky. Lastly, a slightly bitter note of molasses gives a welcomed, warm and spicy addition.⁣⁣

Warming spices such as cinnamon and cloves give a spicy emphasis on the palate. Next, vividly sweet, tropical fruit notes of pineapple and mango, bear for a taste sensation like no other. A fresh, clean, zesty lemon note cuts through to keep things interesting.⁣⁣

The medium finish has an even more enriched mouthfeel and a memorable and lingering flavour. Some dry and slightly bitter cherry notes dominate. Finally, more sweetness in the form of sweet and toasty caramel ends the tasting.⁣⁣

My opinion - Luxuriously rich and complex flavours given from three different cask types blend together harmoniously to enhance the unmistakable Jameson flavour profile.

Note - Tried a cask strength sample of this direct from the barrel in the distillery with @whiskeytommy and it was incredible, even more of those dark fruit notes and spiciness came through. Everything else was turned up a notch too.⁣⁣
