My tasting notes 📝⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
Nose. Plum, Vanilla, Jam on Toast and Herbs.⁣⁣
Palate. Dates, Dark Choc, Oak and Honeyed Fig.⁣⁣
Finish. Raisin, Cinnamon Buns, Kiwi and Orange.⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
First, a ripe and juicy plum fragrance gave a berry scented aroma. Next, a captivating and sweet, vanilla smell grabbed my attention. Then an evocative smell was found in the form of jam on toast; A buttery toast smell accompanied by a jam and berry notes. Additional notes of fresh herbs, such as anise and mint added a certain personality and a mouthwatering essence.⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
On the palate, dates offered a chewy and intensely sweet flavour that combine well with the rich and indulgent tastes provided by dark chocolate. Wood like flavours presented themselves, after some time in the glass, gives rise to a mild and comfortable oakiness. Improving the palate, even more, honeyed figs, a gooey and delightfully luxurious, desert like flavour that was both memorable and seductive sweet in flavour and taste. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
Yet more fruit in the form of raisins, added a definite fruity complexness on the finish.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣⁣Then cake and spice notes combined dramatically to gave the finish, a freshly baked cinnamon bum flavour, that impressed. Additionally, notes of tropical kiwi added another layer of flavour to the whisky. Ultimately, I found a bitter, yet welcoming flavour of burnt orange which in turn finished the tasting.⁣⁣⁣⁣
⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
My opinion 🗣️⁣⁣ "A delightfuly complex 15-year-old Speyside single malt whisky, with quality flavours, that incorporate together well. A gold standard whisky with an emphasis on quality oak. I love this, and you will too. Check this out as soon as possible, you won't be disappointed."⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣
