Cask Type: Bourbon and Sherry Casks.⁣⁣

Nose - Scents of vanilla provided a fundamental essence to the whisky. Next, a noteworthy floral fragrance boosted the smell. Then, a pungent marzipan note was found. Additionally, a lemon-scented aroma added significant interest to the well-aged Highland whisky.⁣⁣

Palate - On the palate fresh orange and juicy apple, invested a welcomed fruitiness.⁣⁣ Then, warm mace, infused a vigorous spiciness. Improving the palate, even more, oak; A woodsy element that added yet another layer of flavour. Ultimately, honey gave a complementary sweetness.⁣⁣

⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣Finish - The long and memorable finish, had a very waxy feel. Then, additional notes of ginger provided a hot and spicy character. Next, an apricot flavour transmitted an intense and vibrant fruitiness. Ultimately, there's a toasted nut-like flavour.⁣⁣⁣⁣

Opinion - Another winner from the very underrated Glencadam distillery. For a great whisky with a strong and complex flavour profile, check this one out.
