Don't miss out on these 10 top-rated Twitter (X) accounts for whisky lovers


Elon Musk has been stirring up controversy on Twitter, or should we call it X? Since taking over, he's made adjustments on a regular basis, drawing a big number of new users while also maintaining existing ones.

So it's only right that I should now reveal my top ten whisky-related Twitter or X, accounts, a list that's mostly geared towards whisky enthusiasts. Whisky experts, critics, consumers, collectors, and everyone in between have accounts listed.

Note: The numbered list is constructed in no particular order other than to keep the list to a maximum of ten items.


#1 - Matt | The Dramble

If you haven't already followed Matt on Twitter, what are you waiting for? His account is packed with whisky information and statistics that you won't want to miss. Furthermore, Matt's extensive and informative assessments provided on his website, The Dramble, should not be overlooked; His thorough and honest assessments are distinct and humanised, and you can tell he puts a lot of time and attention into each review he writes.

#2 - Whisky Resource

A excellent account, complete with an independent whisky database. The database, which was developed from the bottom up, is a testament to the work that has gone into it, and this laborious and pedantic effort is never to be overlooked in my opinion.

#3 - Brian's Malt Musings

Brian updates his Twitter account, and through it, you can read his daily contributions to his blog Brian's Malt Musings, which offers a wide range of his ideas and opinions on matters related to the whisky industry, such as his own personal whisky reviews, tasting notes, and general community perspectives.
